Oil painting from Hillman Curtis. The Story behind this portrait is kind of a sad one. When in contact with him about this portrait, he asked me to organise something for him and his wife after the design conference in Amsterdam where he would speak. I so much looked forward to meeting him and showing what I was up to with the portrait.
Unfortunately, he didn’t come, and it was because he wrote to me he was terminally ill. I kept working on this portrait. When he passed, I had just placed the last brush stroke.
