Living in a city (London), nature is what I personally long for. I strongly believe in nature and the peacefulness it provides. My heartbeat calms, my mental state gets better, and I know that this counts for many people. Painting abstract gave me the freedom to choose colours that we see in nature and sometimes on the canvas seem to collide. Colours, as seen in nature, brought me to this abstract landscape in which everyone can create her or his own story.
When I presented this for the first time, most were in awe of the colours and immediately made their own vision of what part of nature it was. This makes it very personal, something I love, people making up their own stories.
